Great place! Super beautiful scenery! Definitely worth it if you want to experience more to Fiji than the beaches!

Getting to the Outback Hotel can be a journey, all part of the adventure. Don’t get on the wrong side of the river, ask locals when you reach Ba or even better give them a call!
We got there on a stormy day, pouring down with rain and woke up to the most beautiful view across the valley, sugar cane fields and mountains.
Yogi, our host, gets out of his way to show us a good time. Horseriding with Avneet, (definitely a highlight!), kayaking on the Ba river, drinking Kava, or simply sitting back and enjoying the views from the deck.
All is very relaxed, Fijian laid back style so don’t expect resort service. So if you are looking for a unique local experience, that’s the place to go!!

This is a great place for a very different type of experience in Fiji. As the name of the hotel suggests, it offers an outback or a highlands experience.
The scenic beauty of the place is stunning. We use google maps to find this place and then when we actually reached the hotel premises, there was no connectivity, zero internet.
The rooms are nice and customer service great. The food cooked in the outdoor open fire was brilliant and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning with our children.

30 min drive on unsealed road was worth it. The Hotel is a renovated Cane farmhouse, we were greeted warmly, by ''Yogi" and made a late lunch. Dinner was delicious curries. The setting is beautiful with just a short stroll to the river. The Bures were clean but the beds are on the hard side and if you want hot water you are out of luck. Even with that if you want to experience another side of Fiji give it ago
